Hi, I love your game. From graphics to the mechanics. I wanted to suggest new mechanic, Im in late game and I can oneshot hundreds of enemies by one click, it takes long time of waiting to get to the wave i should be on.
 Some way of skipping animation and getting right to the exact wave would be awesome. If you still working on it and want to expand game, some sort of ascension would fit very well into this game. I also found a little bug, I don't know how to recreate it, sometimes sword or 
shield isn't flat 2d, it sometimes get 3rd dimension and moves strangely.

I will add a mechanic that allows you to "skip" the death animation of enemies. A kind of perforation to unlock once 100 enemies are killed in one shot! I really like the idea, I will think about how to integrate that into the game.

I have thought several times about adding an ascension system but I don't see what more it could add... I lack ideas on this point.

As for the bug, I see what you are talking about but I do not know how to reproduce it, it must have to do with the interfaces because it takes shape again when you open and close an interface.

i stopped getting critcals after slowing the sword down enough that i coudl time it reasonably well

a way to see the timer for bosses would be nice

You can already see it with the boss background (maybe it's not visible enough?)
